In the Kitchen

see below for blog posts

It has been known that food is the best medicine for your body, right? Within the past few years I have had a growing interest in eating foods that promote a healthy lifestyle, but I also have been trying to buy foods that will not break my bank either.

I have become a huge advocate for rich, whole foods and grains that lack added sugar, processing, and preservatives. It's amazing how much better you feel once you eat the foods that give you the essential nutrition your body needs to function from day to day.

I am learning to become more frugal by shopping in bulk and creating meal plans to stretch the dollar (coupons help too!). I am also trying to be simple and nutritious knowing that I do not need to spend hours in the kitchen to create healthy and delicious meals. Tyler and I have been aiming towards being better stewards with what we have been given. For me, part of homemaking within the kitchen is eating healthier enabling us to His work more effectively.
